The hydrographic drone HyperBathy30 is designed for maximum efficiency in river flow measurement. Lightweight and resistant, it can be used very easily in various mission conditions: lagoon, harbour, river or still water. It is compatible with a wide variety of ADCP sensors or echosounders.
Lightweight and compact, this hydrographic drone can be used by one operator
The hydrographic drone HyperBathy30 weighs only 17 kg. Equipped with side handles, it is manageable and usable by one person. This allows you to reduce your staff costs in the field.
Thanks to its compactness (only 105 cm in length), it is easily transported in the car trunk. With a payload of up to 10 kg, you can carry a wide variety of sensors. Moreover, the drone implementation is realized in 10 minutes.
A hull designed to fit most aquatic environments
The hull is made from carbon fiber and glass. This makes it particularly resistant to corrosion, waves and heat. This robust design allows you to use your drone in different aquatic environments such as rivers, lagoons, or harbours.
Operate directly from the bank for more safety and more missions
The HyperBathy30 drone is piloted thanks to a radiofrequency communication of up to 2 Km. It has a long battery life of 6 hours (average consumption at a speed of 1.5 m / s). From the mission planning software with the automatic mode, you define the zone on which you want to perform your operation. After transferring data to the drone, it will execute its mission completely automatically. The manual mode also remains available with a radio remote control.
Thus, you guarantee the operator safety, and you reduce the personnel and material costs. This gives you increased productivity compared to traditional methods. Moreover, thanks to its small size, this marine drone can access shallow waters and make you benefit from more missions.
A high speed of 5 m / s to overcome difficult current conditions
The HyperBathy30 is equipped with a waterjet propulsion. This means that the water is pumped under the boat and then expelled at a high speed behind it. The marine drone can reach a maximum speed of 5 m / s. It adapts to various current conditions.
HyperBathy30: USV marine drone compatible with most ADCP & echosounders
The HyperBathy30 is designed to receive almost all ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) instruments with its moon pool.
Its maximum payload of 10 Kg offers you a wide choice of sensors such as Sontek RiverSurveyor S5 / M9, Teledyne RD Instruments Workhorse Rio Grande, Teledyne RD Instruments RiverRay, Teledyne RD Instruments RiverPro, Teledyne RD Instruments RioPro, Teledyne RD Instruments StreamPro or single beam echosounders.
Data is directly compatible with HYPACK and / or QINSy software.

Water flow measurement
Thanks to measuring instruments such as the flowmeter or current meter (ADCP), it is possible to measure the water flow and their effects.
The water flow measurement allows hydraulic structures operators (irrigation systems, hydroelectric installations, reservoirs…) to control agriculture, prevent floods, but also drive energy.
The need for this technique is reinforced by the current environmental conditions with global warming. Water flow measurement helps protect goods, people and heritage. Thanks to a long-term observation, it is possible to know the evolution of the river regimes, to prevent the floods and to sensitize the population to the natural risks.
Bathymetry is the science that corresponds to the depth measurement. This technique collects information on marine environments and soil topography below the surface of the water using an instrument called an echosounder.
